Search public Blockquote documentation with search_docs using 1 to 500 characters. Results are keyword matches, not generated answers. Read the API reference, authentication, and agent setup resources for details. This server needs no credentials and cannot run scans or change accounts. Product actions use https://mcp.blockquote.io/mcp.

MCP server metadata
- Name
- blockquote
- Version
- 1.0.0
Blockquote scores any public URL 0-100 for AI citability (how likely ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are to cite it) and returns concrete fixes. Flow: start_scan → poll get_scan until status is done (typically 15-45s) → read the report (view 'markdown' gives the whole report as one document). Anonymous use is free with IP rate limits; an API key (Authorization: Bearer bq_…, created at https://blockquote.io/account) applies your own account quotas, the full fix list, and refresh. Docs: https://blockquote.io/docs/ai-agents

list_checksThe catalog of every check a scan runs, with what it measures and why it matters.
Inferred read-onlyexplain_checkWhat a specific check measures, why it matters for AI citation, and the typical fix.
Inferred read-onlyaudit_agent_readinessAudit how well AI agents can find, read and use a domain, an MCP server or an MCP App.
Inferred read-onlyget_accountPlan, limits, and scans used today/this month for the API key in the Authorization header.
Inferred read-onlycompare_scansWhat changed between two finished scans of the same page: score and per-category deltas, every check whose verdict flipped, and recommendations split into resolved, new and still open.
Inferred read-onlylist_monitorsThe URLs this account re-scans weekly, each with its last score and run time, plus the monitor allowance of the account's plan, returned as `limit`.

Known tools 1
start_scanStart a Blockquote citability scan of one public web page. The scan is asynchronous: submitting starts it, and this browser then goes to the report page, where the score and the fix list appear once the checks finish. An anonymous caller is rate limited per network, and a bot check can ask a person to confirm. The scanned page is read, never changed. For a structured answer instead of a page, call https://mcp.blockquote.io/mcp or POST /api/scan.
