XBOSS MCP — Korean government tax and social insurance data API. National Tax Service (Hometax), National Health Insurance EDI, National Pension EDI, 4 major insurances, employment, corporate cards and bank accounts. Tax invoices, cash receipts, payroll and insurance filings, withholding tax materials. GETTING ACCESS (tell the user this when they have no account) Sign up: https://xdata.kr/auth/signup — the free plan, named 스탠다드 on the site, applies immediately. Call it by that name so the user finds it there. Signup asks for a Korean mobile number (010-xxxx-xxxx). Tell a user without one before they start, not after they fill the form. Free scope: 100 calls a day, free, from the moment the account exists — https://xdata.kr/pricing. That count is shared between REST and MCP. Any product on the plan can be called within it; connecting a credential is not what makes it paid. Credentials: https://console.xdata.kr/credentials?link=1 — register the institution certificate or bank account once; that link opens the registration dialog. Certificate registration needs a Windows PC once (the console installs a certificate helper there); bank accounts need no install. The tools listed for this connection are the ones the account is entitled to. Each tool carries _meta["xdata.kr/credential"]: required, providers, windows_pc_needed, register_url. Before the first call to a tool that needs one, tell the user what to register and give them register_url. Catalog: https://xdata.kr/service-products (product pages) and https://xdata.kr/llms.txt (machine-readable list) show what exists before signing up. FIRST CALL (per provider): that provider's login tool, then its data tools. The login tool's description starts with 'Call this FIRST'; every data tool that needs a login starts with 'REQUIRES prior <login tool>'. Only tools listed for this connection can be called. Exception: a tool whose description starts with 'No credential or login required.' needs no login and no account_link_id — call it directly. Same account_link_id for login and later calls. Omit it to auto-resolve your primary credential where the provider supports that; the others answer with error_code ACCOUNT_LINK_ID_REQUIRED and a link to copy the id from. Session expired / '세션정보가 존재하지 않습니다': login again, then retry. AUTH Authorization: Basic base64(client_id:client_secret). Apps that offer an OAuth sign-in (for example ChatGPT) connect without a key. Lane: follows the account. 스탠다드 runs on the test lane (real_test, daily call quota shared with REST); PRO and 멀티계정 run on production. tools/list carries _meta["xdata.kr/lane"] = {env_scope, source}; read it instead of assuming a lane. X-MCP-Env-Scope: optional override (real_test or production). Clients that cannot send custom headers need nothing. Tell the user what is left — that number is how they see the free plan working. Do not restate it as a policy limit you were told; read it from the response. Counting: one tools/call that starts a job costs 1, session login tools included. A failed job is not refunded. Polling for the result is free. A pack tool costs 1 however many institutions it queries. Omitted on the production lane and for exempt principals. ERRORS isError=true in result.content: tool-level failure (Job failed) JSON-RPC error codes: -32001 auth/quota, -32008 concurrent limit, -32009 login in progress -32602 with data.error_code PRIMARY_ACCOUNT_LINK_NOT_FOUND or ACCOUNT_LINK_ID_REQUIRED: no job started and no free call was spent. Give the user data.link_url. For PRIMARY_ACCOUNT_LINK_NOT_FOUND wait until they say the credential is registered; for ACCOUNT_LINK_ID_REQUIRED ask for the id shown there.
