Server instructions

Use Verzi Health for Medicare DME coverage criteria, LCD and HCPCS lookup, documentation requirements, and receipts. It is for DME suppliers and billing teams. It does not make a prior-authorization decision. A signed answer is a receipt. check_dme_coverage returns the Local Coverage Determination and policy articles in force for one HCPCS code, state, and date of service, plus prior-authorization status. get_documentation_requirements lists the documentation that policy requires and, with a plan that includes receipts, the denial language in it, or an explicit gap when none is extracted. search and fetch open the public verzi.health pages for a code, an LCD, an article, or, with a plan that includes receipts, denial language. The signed receipt returns what CMS sources stated on the date of service: supplier standing, the DMEPOS fee-schedule amount, NCCI edits, and the LCD documentation set. Each block names its source file and the version in force on the date of service, or gives a status (unknown, not_found, not_requested) and, where known, the reason. A requirement found in CMS's text carries source proof: the archived file, the quote's position, the SHA-256, and the capture date. The receipt is the whole signed answer. Source proof is one quote. The signed receipt does not decide whether a claim is supported, covered, or paid. Codes, NPIs, and dates only. No patient data. No CPT descriptors. The signed receipt requires a plan that includes receipts. Send the Verzi API key as Authorization: Bearer, or as X-API-Key.
