Verlingo gives your software a phone line: create a voice agent, give it a number, place real outbound calls it conducts on your behalf, and read back what happened. Inbound calls to the number are answered by the same agent. If a tool returns 401/403, the user needs a Verlingo API key (portal Settings → API; API access is on every plan; Starter is $30/month) — do not guess one. If make_call fails with 'no agent', the number needs a team assigned (portal Voice → Phone numbers, or buy_number with team_uid). New account: create_agent → buy_number (with agent_uid) or set_number_agent → make_call. Existing setup: list_numbers → make_call (from one of them) → get_call with wait_seconds until status is completed → use answers / outcome / summary. Calls only go out between 8am and 9pm in the person's local time; outside that they queue. Never place a call the user did not ask for. Buying a number costs money — confirm with the user first. Docs: https://mcp.verlingo.com/llms.txt (complete agent guide), https://mcp.verlingo.com/docs/calls.md, https://mcp.verlingo.com/docs/phone-numbers.md (also MCP resources).
