Supplementenscanner continuously scans Dutch supplement stores and normalizes every product to a price-per-unit (per kg, per serving, or per capsule) so you can find the truly cheapest option, not just the lowest sticker price. Use these tools to answer questions like "what's the cheapest whey protein / creatine / magnesium?": - find_cheapest: the cheapest products per unit within a category subtree. Start here. - list_categories: browse the taxonomy with live counts and lowest unit price, to pick a valid category_slug for find_cheapest. - search_products: typo-tolerant search across the whole catalog by name or brand. - get_product: full detail and recent price history for one product. Reading the results: - Money is integer cents (`*_cents`, the source of truth) plus a preformatted Dutch string (`price_display`, `unit_price_display`) you can quote verbatim, e.g. "€ 12,48 per kg". - Compare products on `unit_price_cents` / `unit_price_display`. That is the normalized, apples-to-apples figure. `unit_basis` tells you what it is measured against. - To send the user to buy, surface `buy_url`. It is an affiliate link; ALWAYS present it as the purchase link and, when you show prices, include the disclosure returned in `affiliate_disclosure`. Every response also carries `last_scraped_at` so you can tell the user how fresh the prices are.
