Call sovmon_status first. Read-only access to the European Sovereignty Monitor (sovereigntymonitor.eu), which records everything that moves European technology sovereignty, daily, across four areas (compute and infrastructure; policy and law; defence and space; industry, investment and R&D) and the voices that argue about it. News items record developments; opinion items record the published positions of named people and organisations and never move the index (sovmon_news with kind, sovmon_news_stats, sovmon_item, sovmon_voices). Connected datasets: the stack map, the sovereign-euro ledger, Horizon Europe grants (CORDIS) and the regulation timeline; sovmon_calendar lists the dated events ahead (deadlines, votes, launches, scheduled reports, the days laws start to apply); the European Sovereignty Index (sovmon_index) gives two numbers, where Europe stands against twenty measurements and which way the year's news has pushed it. Analysis across the record is planned as part of a paid offer and is not served here. Every item is graded Verified (the primary document was read at the passage) or Reported, states what it does not test, and is corrected in the open with the original quoted; grants are contracted, not disbursed; co-membership is not partnership. Every news item was drafted by an AI system and carries an ai block (ai.reviewed is the date the editor read it before publication, null when nobody did); sovmon_status returns the publication ai_disclosure field. The actor registry (the actors collection, sovmon_actor) names the organisations and people the record is about; the mentions on an item are machine-set links, never merged with its author, and an item naming an actor is not evidence that the actor acted.

Known tools 13

sovmon_status

Snapshot names, row counts and fetch times for the Sovereignty Monitor data files.

Inferred read-only
sovmon_get

One row by id.

Inferred read-only
sovmon_list

Rows from one collection.

Inferred read-only
sovmon_search

Case-insensitive substring search over the JSON text of every row.

Inferred read-only
sovmon_card_context

Everything the record holds about one map card: the card, partner edges, CORDIS org and consortia (contracted EU money), the stack news entry, explicitly linked timeline events and ledger cases as full rows, and compact prose mentions.

Inferred read-only
sovmon_news

Published news and opinion items, newest first (kind separates them): each graded Verified or Reported, with source, summary, what it does not test, the page url and its links to the stack map (cards), the ledger (case) and the regulation timeline (event).

Inferred read-only
sovmon_news_stats

Counts over the published news: by month (and grade within the month), by area and by primary area, by grade, by kind (news or opinion), by origin (europe or abroad), by author (actor ids, opinion items only), by mention (the registry actors items are about, top 25, counted over the mentions_checked items only, so an item never checked counts under no actor), by publisher (top 25), by source language, how many items have an open follow-up and how many are responses to another item, and coverage: for each month how completely it is gathered (sample: the one-off archive backfill, far fewer items than happened; deepened: drafted again from every relevant article on file and checked; daily: the live pipeline).

Inferred read-only
sovmon_item

One news item by id with the record rows it links resolved: stack map cards, the ledger case, the timeline event.

Inferred read-only
sovmon_voices

The organisations whose published positions the Monitor reads in full, and the named people it quotes.

Inferred read-only
sovmon_actor

One organisation or person from the actor registry, with what the record holds about it: its registry row, parent and subsidiaries, its stack-map card, and through that card the CORDIS grants and consortia (card-level money, labelled so), the ledger cases and timeline events that link the card (each labelled via card X), the news items that are about it (mentions) and, kept apart, the positions it published or signed (author).

Inferred read-only
sovmon_calendar

Dated events ahead in European technology sovereignty: deadlines, votes, decisions, launches, deliveries, scheduled reports and the days laws start to apply.

Inferred read-only
sovmon_insights

Three insights computed from the record, nothing written by a model.

Inferred read-only
sovmon_index

The European Sovereignty Index, two numbers per area and combined.
