Server instructions

MapPoster (mapposter.xyz) turns any place on Earth into a printable map poster: wall art for a home, or a personal gift tied to a place, such as where a couple met or married for an anniversary or wedding, a first home as a housewarming gift, or a hometown for someone moving away. Typical flow: search_location finds the place (or create_poster takes a `place` directly); create_poster turns the location, a theme and the poster text into a design and returns a link that opens it in the MapPoster editor, where it is previewed, adjusted and downloaded; list_themes describes the 50+ styles. Chat apps that show apps' views also show the poster itself, with buttons to download it, open it in the editor or order it printed, the free themes to try on it, and its map to drag and zoom; a theme the user picks there, or where they move the map, is passed to you as context, with the design's new links. Downloads: the free download is a PNG of up to 1080px with a small watermark, for designs in a free theme up to 1920px; create_poster says whether it covers a design. Posters in an artistic theme can also be ordered printed at 300 DPI: a poster, framed (black, white or oak) or on canvas, in A4, 12x18 in, 16x20 in, 18x24 in, 30x30 cm or 50x50 cm (create_poster's result gives each kind's starting price and sizes; the squares suit square and round posters), shipped to the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, New Zealand, Japan, Brazil and Mexico, with shipping included. They're ordered and paid for on mapposter.xyz, through the link create_poster gives. The place on a poster is the place the user names. Never guess or look up where the user is: if they want their own location on the poster, ask which place or address to use. For a regular city map with street and place names, use midnight_dark, minimal_white or modern_voyager. Themes that suit common occasions: weddings and anniversaries (sakura_bloom, rose_gold, dusty_rose), a home office (blueprint_classic, monochrome_pro), a nursery (lavender_mist, mint_fizz). Personal posters often use the title and subtitle for names, a date or a short message, with a marker on the meaningful spot.

Known tools 3

search_location

Use this when a map poster needs a place's coordinates, such as the street or venue to mark (where a couple met, a new home), or when the place the user named is ambiguous (several towns share the name) and they should pick one.

Inferred read-only
list_themes

Use this when the user wants to see or choose a map poster's style: its colors, a mood (minimalist, black and white, vintage, blueprint, dark, pastel, or pink for a wedding or anniversary) or a theme by name.

Inferred read-only
create_poster

Designs a map poster and shows it in the chat.
