Instadram tools for the signed-in user's whisky collection, other users' public shelves and activity, and the public bottle catalog. Authorization is a verified OAuth or Firebase ID token. Look up people with search_users or get_user, then list_user_bottles. Identify a bottle with lookup_bottle (add-bottle analyzeBourbonImage fields; photo or text — never the art generator). Research community reviews with fetch_bottle_reviews even if the iOS flag is off. Reading shelves, people, activity, the catalog and bottle reviews is free, as in the app. lookup_bottle requires Instadram Pro (paid or gifted); whoami includes pro. AI tools need the ai.use scope and count toward daily limits. Write tools exist for the shelf, collections, social and profile; each needs its optional scope (shelf.write, collections.write, social.write or profile.write) granted at sign-in. Every write works in two steps: call it first to get a preview, then call it again with the confirm_token from that preview to apply the change.
