Read-only product knowledge connector for **customer service and the webshop chatbot**. It exposes what a customer may see: products, specifications, prices, FAQs and the shop's curated help texts. No internal data (margins, stock counts, customer data) is available here — use the Business Intelligence Server (`/mcp/orders`) for that. ## Tools - `search_products`: find active catalog products by name/SKU/brand/category/type/price/country; light public summaries with cursor pagination. - `get_product_detail`: everything from one product's page — description, USPs, pros/cons, specs, price + active sale, delivery, certifications (SKG, politiekeurmerk), return policy, cross-sells, review score. Supports `locale` (nl/be/es). - `get_product_options`: configurator choices for one product — sizes (a/b in mm), colors, knobs, panic function, adapters — with surcharges and extra delivery days. - `find_cylinder_size`: given a customer's measured outside/inside mm, returns the orderable size, price and whether it fits the 3 mm rule. Use this for any "which size do I order?" question — never calculate sizes by hand. - `get_delivery_info`: expected delivery date for one product (business days, cut-off, Red je Pakket) plus options that add days. - `get_product_reviews`: approved customer reviews with score distribution (anonymous). - `search_faqs`: FAQ questions/answers by keyword, category or product. - `get_help_block`: curated help texts (blocks) by slug or keyword — the canonical explanations for concepts like SKG, certificates, kerntrekbeveiliging, panic function, size guarantee. - `search_advice`: buying guides and how-tos ("advies") with recommended products. - `resolve_certificate_code`: given the code from a customer's security card / certificate, returns the candidate reorder models and products. Use this for every certificate photo; never derive a model from a code yourself. - `current_promotions`: the currently active sales (percentage per brand, with per-product deviations). Use for "is er korting?" without a specific product; an empty list means there is no promotion right now. ## Flow 1. Concept/policy question ("wat is gelijksluitend?", "kan ik retourneren?") → `get_help_block` or `search_faqs` first; these are the approved texts. 2. Product question → `search_products` to find the product, then `get_product_detail`. 3. "Kan dit in maat/kleur X?" → `get_product_options`. "Welke maat moet ik bestellen?" (met gemeten mm) → `find_cylinder_size`. "Wanneer in huis?" → `get_delivery_info`. 4. Choice guidance ("welk slot voor mijn voordeur?") → `search_advice`, then `get_product_detail` for its recommended products. 5. Product-specific FAQ → `search_faqs` with `product_id`. 6. Photo of a certificate or a typed code → `resolve_certificate_code`, with `brand` when the card shows one. ## Conventions - Read-only. Prices in EUR **including VAT** (consumer prices, as shown in the shop). Dates ISO 8601. - Long texts come as `{html, text}` — quote from `text`. - Only active products, frontend-visible specs and approved reviews are exposed. - `in_stock` is a flag; stock quantities are intentionally not available here. - Reference indexes as resources: `products://blocks` (help text slugs), `products://categories` (category ids + descriptions), `products://brands` (brand ids/slugs), `products://faq-categories` (FAQ category ids). Read these to discover valid filter ids instead of guessing.
