Docfarm is the user's document-sharing farm. You can read, edit, share and track any doc they own or have been added to as a collaborator. What you can do for them: Which farm • list_accounts: the farms this connection reaches. One person can hold two, a work account and a personal one, connected in docfarm but kept entirely separate (docs, links, viewers and analytics never mix). • Every other tool takes an optional `account` naming the farm to act on. Omit it for the signed-in farm. Call list_accounts first whenever a request could concern either farm, or when the user says "my personal", "my work" or names an address that is not the signed-in one. Do not guess which farm a doc belongs in; if it is ambiguous and the answer matters, ask. Make a page • get_build_brief: call once per conversation before writing any HTML. Returns the house standard plus this person's brand, their colours, fonts and logo tokens. • host_html_content: publish HTML and get a share link. Only the exact same name updates an existing doc in place and keeps its link. A similar name makes a new doc. • get_upload_url + finalize_upload: two-step upload for a large file already on disk, so the bytes skip the model's context. Needs an outbound HTTP PUT; host_html_content works everywhere. • duplicate_doc: server-side copy of any readable doc into the user's farm, the fast path for 'a version of X for Y' (copy, then patch the differences). • rebuild_doc + check_rebuild: rebuild a PDF or PowerPoint the user already has on docfarm into a live page built to the house standard. Read and edit • list_docs: the docs the user owns, then the docs shared with them and how an edit to each behaves. • get_doc_html: the current HTML of any doc they can reach, owned or shared. Read it before you patch. • get_doc_url: a time-limited download URL for the raw file, PDFs included. • patch_doc: the default for ANY edit. Replace one snippet with before_snippet and after_snippet, or several at once with a `patches` array, which lands atomically. About 50 tokens instead of 7,000 for a re-host. Never re-host to make a change. • show_doc: open a doc inside the chat as a live view. In Claude the page renders in the conversation and the person can switch on Edit text, click any heading or paragraph, retype it and save. Call it when they ask to see, preview, check or hand-edit a doc, and whenever they paste a doc.farm link: open the doc with show_doc first, then answer. host_html_content, patch_doc and duplicate_doc show the same view on their own, so do not call show_doc right after them; do still give the share link in words, because text-only hosts see nothing else. • Editing a doc the user does not own: if the owner allowed direct overwrite the patch lands on their doc; otherwise patch_doc forks it into a copy the user owns. The owner is not notified. Share, protect and track • get_doc_status: the share link, total and unique views, average time, when it was last opened, and the most recent viewers with their time and pages. Use it for 'who saw it', 'how is it doing', and to draft a follow-up that refers to what each person actually read. Owner only. • update_doc_settings: password, ask viewers for their email before they see the doc, downloads, owner notifications, and `title` to rename. The share link never changes. • invite_collaborator: share a doc by email so it lands in their farm. Needs the email AND allow_overwrite (edit directly, or copy on edit); ask for either if missing, never guess. • delete_doc: permanent and irreversible. Confirm first when in doubt. Meta • whats_possible: this overview again. • get_skills: load a Docfarm skill, written instructions for a task. docfarm/onboarding is the short tour for someone who has just connected. When the person asks to use a Docfarm skill by name, load it and follow it. Fuzzy-match doc names; people rarely type the exact title. Live editing tip: the docfarm viewer refreshes itself when a doc changes, so before a round of patches suggest the user keep the share URL open in a tab and watch each edit land. The URL is in every get_doc_html and get_doc_status answer.

Known tools 21

whats_possible

Show a grouped overview of everything docfarm can do for the user — reading, editing, sharing, tracking, drafting follow-ups, and collaborating.

Inferred read-only
get_skills

Load a Docfarm skill, written instructions for a task that you then follow.

Inferred read-only
get_build_brief

READ THIS FIRST, before writing a single line of HTML for this user.

Inferred read-only
list_docs

List the user's docs: first the ones they own, each with its share link, then the ones other people shared with them and how an edit to each behaves (overwrites the original, or makes the user's own copy).

Potential side effects
get_doc_status

Who read a doc and how.

Inferred read-only
update_doc_settings

Change a doc the user OWNS: password protection (password_on / password_value), ask viewers for their email before viewing (ask_name), allow file downloads (allow_downloads), view notifications for the owner (notify), and the doc's title (title).

Potential side effects
delete_doc

Permanently delete a doc the user OWNS — removes the document, its share link(s), all view/analytics data, chat, comments, suggestions, collaborators, and the stored file.

Potential side effects
invite_collaborator

Invite someone to collaborate on a doc the user OWNS, by email, so it lands in their docfarm.

Potential side effects
host_html_content

Host an HTML doc on docfarm and return its share link.

Inferred read-only
duplicate_doc

Server-side copy of any HTML doc the user can read (their own OR shared with them) into their own farm under a new name.

Inferred read-only
get_upload_url

Step 1 of 2 for hosting a large HTML file that is already on disk, without sending its bytes through the model's context.

Inferred read-only
finalize_upload

FAST PATH step 2/2: after PUTting the file to the signed URL from `get_upload_url`, call this to publish.

Potential side effects
get_doc_html

Read the current HTML body of any docfarm HTML doc the user has access to — their own docs OR docs other people have shared with them (as collaborator or via share link).

Inferred read-only
get_doc_url

Get a time-limited signed URL that downloads the raw file of any doc the user has access to — HTML, PDF, Markdown, anything stored on docfarm.

Inferred read-only
patch_doc

Edit an existing hosted doc by replacing a snippet of its HTML.

Potential side effects
rebuild_doc

Rebuild a PDF or PowerPoint the user already has on docfarm into a live HTML page built to the house standard, keeping every fact and reorganising the layout so it reads on a phone.

Inferred read-only
check_rebuild

Check a rebuild started by `rebuild_doc` and publish it when it is done.

Potential side effects
show_doc

Open a doc inside the chat as a live view of the page.

Inferred read-only
app_read_doc

Used by the docfarm doc view inside the chat, not by the assistant.

Inferred read-only
app_apply_edits

Used by the docfarm doc view inside the chat, not by the assistant.

Inferred read-only
list_accounts

List the farms this connection can reach: the signed-in account, plus the connected account when the person has one (docfarm's work/personal split, two separate farms held by one person).

Inferred read-only
