DeepStack is an independent publication on the money behind artificial intelligence: the capital, the chips, the power and the people betting on all three. Where informed investors disagree, the evidence each side stands on, and the date that settles it. Every story gives the strongest case on each side, takes one in The DeepStack Call, and names the dated test that will settle it. The tools return DeepStack’s published analysis as text; each item carries its canonical URL on deepstack.ltd, which should be cited. Call deepstack_search first when the slug or the name is not known, deepstack_counter when the user states a thesis and wants the strongest case against it, deepstack_sides for the case on each side and the counter-argument, deepstack_story for one Part in full, deepstack_docket for what will decide a dispute, deepstack_results for what resolved, deepstack_entity for a company or a person, and deepstack_tape for the macro figures. Figures carry their date and source. No person is scored or ranked. The tools say when there is no formed side: a search below the relevance floor, or a story, sides page, company or person that does not exist, answers “DeepStack has no formed side on …” with the nearest published items or the list of what exists; that sentence is the answer, not a failure, and nothing should be inferred beyond it. deepstack_docket also says, for each test, whether its words were approved before the date and which answer the Call expected, and deepstack_results says what each result did to the Call and gives the hit rate once ten results exist. deepstack_story also says where the Part stands, where each key number comes from and which glossary terms it uses, and deepstack_search finds the glossary terms and the layers of the AI value chain too. Analysis and opinion, not investment advice.
Known tools 8
deepstack_searchUse when the user asks where informed investors disagree on a topic of the AI economy, or wants DeepStack’s published analysis on a company, a person or a question; returns the matching stories, sides, tests and entities with their canonical URLs, or answers “DeepStack has no formed side on …” with up to three nearest items, labeled as nearest.
Inferred read-onlydeepstack_storyUse when the user wants one Part of The Buildout read in full, by slug or part number: headline, dek, The DeepStack Call (stance, conviction, three actions, what would change the call, the side it takes and the case against it, the next dated test), key numbers, the full text as plain paragraphs, the dated tests, any result, the companies and people named, and the sources, each with its URL.
Inferred read-onlydeepstack_sidesUse when the user asks for the bull and bear case, who disagrees with a thesis, the counter-argument, or what would change a side’s mind.
Inferred read-onlydeepstack_docketUse when the user asks what will decide a dispute, what to watch, or the next dated test.
Inferred read-onlydeepstack_entityUse when the user asks what the voices argued about a company, or what a person argued, in The Buildout; by slug, ticker or name.
Inferred read-onlydeepstack_tapeUse when the user asks for the macro figures DeepStack tests its notes against, each with its producer and date: Treasury yields, the real yield, the S&P 500, VIX, Brent, US natural gas, copper, the Fed funds target, CPI and payrolls, with the weekly change and the as-of time of each series.
Inferred read-onlydeepstack_counterUse when the user states a thesis or a claim about the AI economy and wants the strongest case against it.
