DeepDNA (https://deepdna.ai): cited, curated knowledge about genes, variants (by rsID) and drug–gene pairs (CPIC or DPWG guidance where a guideline exists) for the genes listed by list_genes. Use it instead of recalling pharmacogenomics from memory, and quote the sources it returns. check_medications screens a medication list for drugs with curated drug–gene records. Never send a genotype or a DNA file: the tools take gene symbols, rsIDs and drug names only, any other argument is refused and not used. Never type a personal genetic result into an argument. It never calls a phenotype or a dose. Educational information only, not medical advice. It does not read DNA files: file parsing is in private beta, and request_beta_access registers a user's interest only when the user has explicitly agreed to share their email.
Known tools 6
list_genesList the genes in the DeepDNA knowledge base, with a one-line summary and category for each.
Inferred read-onlylookup_geneEverything curated about one gene: function, key variants with rsIDs, metabolizer or function phenotypes, drug interactions, what a consumer genotyping array can and cannot tell you, and sources.
Inferred read-onlylookup_variantOne variant by dbSNP rsID: gene, star-allele or common name, alleles, functional effect, population frequency and sources.
Inferred read-onlylookup_drug_genePharmacogenomic guidance for a gene, optionally for one drug: guideline (CPIC or DPWG, "drug label", or null when the record rests on the primary literature), summary of the recommendation, phenotypes and sources.
Inferred read-onlycheck_medicationsGiven a list of generic drug names, say which ones have a curated drug–gene record, with which genes and what each record rests on (a CPIC or DPWG guideline, a drug label, or the primary literature), and which are not covered.
Inferred read-onlyrequest_beta_accessRegister the user's interest in DeepDNA's private beta (DNA file parsing, annotation, bloodwork; not deployed yet).
