Server instructions

ContentOS by CreatorAsset: a guided content workflow. The prompts (contentos_setup, contentos_brand, contentos_install, contentos_instagram, contentos_rehash, contentos_hooks, contentos_caption_stack, contentos_video_prompt, contentos_research) are the fastest way in — each pre-fills the inputs and says exactly which tools to call. Otherwise start with contentos_status (public) or get_account_status, then start_workflow_run → follow each step's instructions using ONLY the context provided → report results with get_next_step → save_asset for anything the creator keeps. Research runs on the creator's own computer by default (get_local_toolchain + submit_research_results); hosted research and premium transcription are optional paid add-ons — always state the per-minute price and get an explicit yes before set_research_mode(hosted) or set_transcription_tier(premium). Never invent facts about the creator; use the brand sheet. Apply the CLOSE Loop rules in the `contentos://rules` resource on every output.

Known tools 22

clear_instagram_session

Forget the stored Instagram session for this account immediately.

Inferred read-only
contentos_status

Public: what this ContentOS server offers — available workflows (with their inputs), the published workflow version, supported AI apps, and whether sign-in is configured.

Inferred read-only
create_project

Create a content project under a brand to group saved assets and runs.

Potential side effects
get_account_status

Your ContentOS access status: whether the subscription is active, your default brand, and which workflows are available.

Inferred read-only
get_brand_profile

Read one brand profile (default brand when brand_id is omitted), including its competitor list and the brand sheet text used in prompts.

Inferred read-only
get_creator_posts

List a creator's recent public posts with stats (views, likes, comments, shares, date, caption, duration) — TikTok and YouTube natively, Instagram when this server has session cookies.

Inferred read-only
get_instagram_session

Whether an Instagram session is connected for this account (status, masked label, last verification, last error) — never the secret itself.

Inferred read-only
get_local_toolchain

How to run ContentOS research on the creator's own computer (research mode `local`, included in the subscription): the companion script URL, the one-time install per operating system, the exact commands, and the Instagram note.

Inferred read-only
get_next_step

Report the result of the current step and receive the next one.

Inferred read-only
get_post_transcript

One post's metadata and transcript from its URL (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram with cookies; short links resolve).

Potential side effects
get_research_job

Status, progress and (when complete) the result of a research job: per-handle outcome, posts considered, ranked winners with stats and transcripts (and why any transcript is missing), failures against the 12-call budget, and whether the result is partial.

Inferred read-only
list_assets

Retrieve saved assets (newest first), optionally filtered by brand or project.

Inferred read-only
list_brands

List your brand profiles (the nine-field brand sheet each workflow writes against).

Inferred read-only
rank_posts

Rank competitor posts the ContentOS way: outlier = views ÷ that account's median views, blended with engagement percentile, capped per account.

Inferred read-only
save_asset

Save a finished asset to your library: kind = script | caption | hook_set | video_prompt | research_report | rebuilt_script.

Inferred read-only
set_instagram_session

Connect the creator's own Instagram session so Competitor research can read Instagram (TikTok and YouTube need nothing).

Inferred read-only
set_research_mode

Choose where research runs for this account.

Inferred read-only
set_transcription_tier

Choose the speech-to-text tier for this account.

Inferred read-only
start_workflow_run

Start a guided ContentOS workflow run for a brand.

Inferred read-only
submit_research_job

Start the Competitor research pipeline as one server-side job: list each handle's recent posts with stats, rank them the ContentOS way (outlier = views ÷ that account's median, blended with engagement percentile, capped per account), and transcribe the winners (platform captions, else local speech-to-text).

Inferred read-only
submit_research_results

Hand research produced on the creator's computer to ContentOS.

Inferred read-only
upsert_brand_profile

Create or update a brand profile.
