Buzzterms is a public, read-only glossary. A term is one entry with a definition, plain-English explanation, example, sources, and available everyday-meaning metadata. A category is a broad topic area. A learning line is an editor-curated path through entries in a recommended order. Use search_terms to find candidates from a name, alias, or explanatory keywords, then get_term for a full explanation. Search supports multiword and bounded typo matching; choose useful keywords. get_related_terms adds the entries editors linked as related, in their chosen order; links can be one-way. Use list_categories to discover topic IDs and get_category to read a topic. Use list_lines to discover learning-path IDs and get_line to follow the recommended order. list_terms browses glossary summaries; a learning-path filter keeps glossary order, so use get_line for the path order. Compact summaries omit long-form explanations and everyday metadata. Existing detail tools default to full; adding any detail, limit, or cursor option to get_category enables pages. Reuse the tool, filters, and detail when continuing with nextCursor; restart without a cursor after INVALID_CURSOR. Use each supplied absolute url when linking to an entry, topic, or path. An everydayMeaning object contains reviewed dictionary text. Explicit null uses the available everydayMeaningNote; an omitted field means unavailable metadata. Ask for an editorial decision rather than inventing missing copy. All tools retrieve published information and cannot edit or publish content.
