BlockReq MCP is public, free, and read-only. Use list_chains or get_chain to find a network's host and capabilities, search_docs and get_doc_page for documentation, get_method_reference for a method's parameters and example on one network, and call_rpc for read-only JSON-RPC calls. Without credentials call_rpc uses the rate-limited public trial endpoint, which does not serve deep history, debug, or trace; when this connection sends Authorization: Bearer <BlockReq API key>, or is signed in through https://mcp.blockreq.com/mcp/account, call_rpc uses the caller's own endpoint, metered to their account. Production code should call a private endpoint with an API key from https://blockreq.com/dashboard.

Known tools 6

list_chains

List every published BlockReq network with its host, public trial URL, private URL pattern ({API_KEY} placeholder), WSS support, and archive and proof/debug/trace flags.

Inferred read-only
get_chain

Get one network's URLs and capability flags, its API reference page, and (for EVM networks) the JSON-RPC methods documented for it.

Inferred read-only
search_docs

Search the BlockReq docs (setup, API keys, endpoints, Request Counting, plans, networks, support).

Inferred read-only
get_doc_page

Read one BlockReq docs page as Markdown.

Inferred read-only
get_method_reference

Get the documented parameters, result, example, and endpoints of one JSON-RPC method on one EVM network, from BlockReq's OpenRPC document.

Inferred read-only
call_rpc

Call one read-only JSON-RPC method on an EVM network.

Inferred read-only
