Server instructions

BitePods clips the exact moment of a podcast or YouTube episode and gives you a shareable link. A clip is a pointer — the publisher's URL plus an in and an out point — so nothing is uploaded and the clip lives in its own link. Order of work: find it (`resolve_url` for a link, `search_shows` or `search_videos` for a name) → `list_episodes` → `get_transcript` to locate the moment → `create_clip`. Pass an episode's `clipUrl`, `showUrl` and `audioUrl` back exactly as you were given them. Times are seconds from the start of the episode (754.3), never "12:34". Three things to know so you don't retry what can't work: transcripts are the publisher's own and only about one show in six publishes any, so `available: false` is final; a link nothing playable was found behind answers `unresolved` with a reason, which is an answer rather than a transient failure; and there is no summarising tool here on purpose — you get the transcript, you do the reading. Check `clip.title` on the way out. It is the episode as its feed names it, and it is how you know you clipped what you meant to before you share the link. Known tools 9

search_shows

Searches the public podcast directory by show name.

Inferred read-only
top_shows

The most-subscribed shows in a country, ranked.

Inferred read-only
list_episodes

Episodes of a show, newest first, from its RSS feed, its Apple Podcasts page, or a YouTube playlist or channel.

Inferred read-only
resolve_url

Turns any pasted link into something clippable, and says which of three things it is: `episode` (one playable thing, ready for create_clip), `show` (a feed or channel — a preview of its episodes, with list_episodes for the rest), or `unresolved` (nothing playable was found, and why).

Inferred read-only
get_transcript

The episode's own transcript with absolute timestamps in seconds, so a line's `start` is a number you can pass straight to create_clip.

Inferred read-only
create_clip

Marks a span of an episode and hands back the links that play it.

Inferred read-only
get_clip

What a short id stands for: the episode, the two times, the links, and how many times the clip has been played.

Inferred read-only
search_videos

Long-form YouTube results for a name — the route for a talk or an interview that only lives there.

Inferred read-only
show_videos

Where a podcast lives on YouTube, and its episodes as videos.

Inferred read-only
