Server instructions

Apologetics Wiki is a Trinitarian Christian reference. Jesus is God. Read tools need no account. The MCP endpoint is https://apologetics.wiki/mcp. Email one-time codes sign in humans, MCP clients, and agents. Scope hearts saves articles and verses. Scope suggest submits a suggestion to a review queue. Nothing publishes directly. Each suggestion (suggest_article_change, propose_new_article, suggest_topic) is checked for spam, abuse, and, for a full article, its sources before it joins the review queue. The reply carries gate.verdict: accept (queued), reject (not queued; gate.reasons names each standard not met and how to fix it), needs_explainer (suggest_topic only: a published article is a close match; gate.matches links it, and calling again with explainer, saying what that article does not answer, queues the topic), or unscored (the automatic check was unavailable; the suggestion is queued for a person to review, never dropped). Contributors and admins skip the check. Accounts start as suggesters. Contributor access is granted after a review. How to authenticate: https://apologetics.wiki/auth.md. Connect page: https://apologetics.wiki/connect. Rate limits: Anonymous reads (tools/list, read tools, public JSON): 60 per minute per IP Signed-in MCP calls: 120 per minute per account Saved items (/api/hearts and MCP): 60 per minute per account; 20 per minute per IP when signed out MCP key create, roll, and delete: 10 per minute per account Suggestion submits: 5 per minute per account; 20 per day for a suggester; 60 per day for a contributor; 500 per day for the whole site Accessibility Reports: 5 per minute per IP; 5 per day per IP OAuth client registration: 10 per minute per IP; 30 per day per IP; 300 per day for the whole site Email code requests: 5 per minute per IP; 3 per 15 minutes per address; 10 per day per address; 30 per day per IP; 200 outbound messages per day Code verification: 20 per minute per IP; 5 attempts per code; after 10 wrong codes in 15 minutes the address is locked until the window ends Token, revoke, and consent endpoints: 30 per minute per IP MCP request body: 128 KB OAuth request body: 16 KB JSON-RPC batch: 10 calls In browsers that support WebMCP, the site’s MCP tools are also exposed in the page through document.modelContext, served via Cloudflare. The bridge script at /.webmcp/bridge.js reads the tool list from /mcp and sends each call there. The page also registers open_connect_page and the search_wiki search form.
