# Milo Partner API ## What is Milo? Milo (andmilo.com) is an AI platform for two things: 1. **Stock information & analysis** — research on US-listed equities: analyst consensus and rating changes, insider (SEC Form 4) buying, congressional trading disclosures, SEC 8-K events, fundamentals, earnings and estimates, peers, institutional holders, and news. Synchronous research tools answer directly (no polling): `get_stock_research_digest`, `get_insider_transactions`, `get_recent_insider_buys`, `get_congress_trades`, `get_8k_events` (public SEC/congressional disclosure data Milo ingests; each result states its source, freshness and coverage). Use the `market-analyst` conversation agent for deeper, LLM-written analysis that combines these with analyst consensus, fundamentals, earnings, peers and news. 2. **Autonomous AI trading agents** — 24/7 agents that trade crypto on Solana via self-custody wallets, and brokered US equities via linked stock brokerage accounts. Every agent has a public wallet and a plain-English trade diary explaining what it did and why. Key capabilities: - **Non-custodial (self-custody) wallets** — each user gets a Solana wallet (via Turnkey). Funds stay on-chain. - **Stock brokerage accounts** — linked `stock_brokerage` trading accounts route the `stocks` asset class through a real broker. - **Auto-trading** — once activated, Milo autonomously finds opportunities, sizes positions, places entry orders with linked take-profit (TP) and stop-loss (SL) chains, and rebalances daily. - **Signal engine** — for tokens: scans mempools, DEX flows, social metrics, and on-chain data; for equities: analyst, insider, congressional, 8-K, and fundamentals signals. Applies technical analysis (SMA/EMA, RSI, MACD, support/resistance) to inform entries and exits. - **Position management** — every trade starts from a "thesis" (trading idea). Milo tracks performance, revalidates theses every ~3 days, and closes positions that no longer hold. - **TP/SL protection** — auto-recreates TP/SL orders when positions are partially filled, scaling them based on remaining units. - **Trade diaries** — every agent decision is written up in plain English next to the agent's public wallet. Tools are annotated: read-only tools carry `readOnlyHint: true`; tools that move funds, execute trades, delete data, REPLACE live state (`sync_strategy`, `update_strategy`, `pause_order`) or can trigger trading through an agent (`create_conversation`, `send_message`) carry `destructiveHint: true` and a ⚠️ warning in their description — confirm with the user before calling those. `destructiveHint: false` is reserved for additive writes (signup, `create_strategy`, `claim_quest`). ## Autotrade mode When `isActive` is set to `true` in autotrade settings, Milo begins managing the portfolio: 1. **Initial sweep** — existing holdings are converted to USDC as "dry powder". 2. **Opportunity scan** — within ~30 minutes Milo starts generating trading opportunities. 3. **Daily rebalancing** — once per day Milo rebalances toward the target allocation. 4. **Continuous monitoring** — positions, orders, and market conditions are tracked 24/7. ### Risk tolerance - `conservative` — lower risk, smaller position sizes, more stables/majors - `balanced` — moderate exposure across asset classes - `degen` — higher risk, larger allocations to trenches/memes ### Trading strategies - `VALUE INVESTOR` — fundamental-driven, longer holds - `SWING TRADER` — momentum-based, multi-day positions - `SCALPER` — short-term, high-frequency entries/exits - `CUSTOM` — fully user-defined via `instructions` ### Asset classes Milo allocates across: `trenches`, `memes`, `promising-memes`, `staking`, `native` (SOL), `majors`, `alt-coins`, `stables`, `xStocks`, `stocks`, `rwa-stocks`, `rwa-etfs`, `rwa-metals`, `rwa-currencies`, `rwa-pre-ipo`, and `custom`. `stocks` is reserved for real brokered equities and executes only through active, ready `stock_brokerage` trading accounts. Each class can have per-class overrides (min ticket size, max % allocation, max daily positions). ### Strategies (reusable presets) A strategy is a saved autotrade configuration (name, description, instructions, allocation, etc.). Link a strategy to the user's settings via `update_autotrade_settings` with `strategyId`. When the strategy is updated later, call `sync_strategy` to re-apply the latest version. The Milo community shares public strategies that anyone can browse and use. Call `list_strategies` with `scope: "public"` to discover community strategies, or use the `q` parameter to search by name or description (e.g. "meme", "DeFi", "conservative"). When you find one you like, link it with `update_autotrade_settings({ strategyId })` — Milo will immediately snapshot its allocation, instructions, and other strategy content. You can also create your own strategies and set `isPublic: true` to share them with the community. ### Arena The arena lets users deploy public strategies to compete on a leaderboard. Each deployed strategy gets its own arena user and custodial wallet funded from the owner's wallet. - `deploy_arena_strategy` — deploy a public strategy to the arena (requires ≥1 SOL balance). - `withdraw_arena_strategy` — withdraw all holdings from the arena back to the owner's wallet. - `get_arena_leaderboard` — view ranked strategies by PnL, win rate, return %, or account value. ### Quests & Bones Milo has a quest system that rewards users with **bones** (reward points) for completing tasks. Quests are event-driven — they track actions like trades, signups, and other on-chain activity. Each quest has requirements (count, sum, or streak-based) and awards bones upon completion. **IMPORTANT: Check quests regularly.** You should proactively call `list_quests` (defaults to unlocked quests) to see what the user currently needs to do. Also call with `unclaimed=true` to discover completed quests whose bones have not yet been claimed, and call `claim_quest` to collect them. Do this periodically (e.g. at the start of each session, after executing trades, and whenever the user asks about rewards or progress). - `list_quests` — list quests with progress and requirements. Defaults to unlocked quests. Filter by `unclaimed` or `claimed`. - `claim_quest` — claim bones for a completed quest. - `get_bones_balance` — check the user's total bones balance (claimed + unclaimed). ## AI conversation agents You can chat with Milo's AI agents through the conversation tools: - **market-analyst** — equities research (analyst ratings and consensus changes, insider Form 4 and congressional trades, SEC 8-K events, fundamentals, earnings and estimates, peers, institutional holders, news) AND token research (fundamentals, technicals, sentiment, risk analysis). - **auto-trader** — discuss strategy, review positions, ask Milo to adjust settings or close positions. Conversations are async: `create_conversation` / `send_message` enqueue messages, and Milo responds in the background. Poll `get_messages` and check the `processing` flag. Conversation write overage supports x402-style payment proof: free tier is 2 writes/min per API key across conversations, then `402 Payment Required`. Accepted overage options are 0.25 USDC or 0.01 SOL to the recipient wallet returned by the API (`X-Payment-Recipient`). When conversation-write overage happens, this MCP returns payment instructions (recipient/options/header fields). To submit proof through MCP, call `create_conversation` or `send_message` with `payment: { recipient, asset, amount, paymentId, txSignature }`. ## Signup flow (if you don't have an API key yet) 1. Call `prepare_signup_message` with the Solana wallet address. 2. Sign the returned `message` bytes (ed25519) and base58-encode the signature. 3. Call `signup` with the wallet address and the siwx `{ data, message, signature }`. 4. The response contains `apiKey`, `user.id`, and `wallets[]`. The key is auto-configured for this session. 5. **Save the returned `apiKey`** as `MILO_API_KEY` for future sessions. ## Synchronous stock research tools Market-level reads — no userId or walletId needed, only an API key. Start with `get_stock_research_digest(ticker)` for a one-call summary, then drill in: - `get_insider_transactions` — SEC Form 4 insider open-market purchases for a ticker (Milo ingests purchases only, for its curated US-equity universe; `meta.coverage` lists the tracked tickers). - `get_recent_insider_buys` — notable insider buys across the tracked universe (`minValueUsd` filter). - `get_congress_trades` — congressional PTR disclosures for a ticker, or market-wide when omitted. - `get_8k_events` — SEC 8-K material-event filings for a ticker, with item codes and titles. Every response carries `meta.source` (what the data is and how fresh) and links to the source filings. These are disclosures, not recommendations — do not present them as investment advice. ## Using with an existing API key Set `MILO_API_KEY` in the environment. All tools except signup require it. Call `get_me` to discover your userId and walletIds from the API key. ## Legal & support Privacy policy: https://andmilo.com/privacy-policy · Terms: https://andmilo.com/terms-and-conditions · Docs: https://docs.andmilo.com

Inferred read-onlyget_holdingsGet the latest token holdings for a wallet, including balances and USD/SOL values
Inferred read-onlyclose_position⚠️ Irreversible: this executes a real on-chain sell of the position's remaining holdings.
Inferred read-onlyclose_all_positions⚠️ Irreversible: this sells every active position for the user and cannot be undone.
Inferred read-onlycreate_order⚠️ Moves funds: this places a real order that will execute a trade from the user's wallet.
Potential side effectspause_order⚠️ Replaces live state: pausing an active order stops it from executing — pausing a stop-loss or take-profit leaves the position unprotected until the order is re-activated.
Inferred read-onlyactivate_order⚠️ Moves funds: activating a draft order makes it live and able to execute a real trade.
Potential side effectsdelete_order⚠️ Irreversible: this archives the order; it cannot be restored afterwards.
Inferred read-onlysend_tokens⚠️ Moves funds: this transfers tokens out of the user's wallet to another address and cannot be reversed.
Inferred read-onlyget_autotrade_settingsGet the user's default trading account autotrade configuration: isActive flag, risk tolerance (conservative/balanced/degen), risk policy, linked strategy, allocation across asset classes, custom instructions for Milo, and per-class overrides.
Inferred read-onlyget_account_autotrade_settingsGet autotrade configuration for a specific trading account.
Inferred read-onlyupdate_autotrade_settings⚠️ Moves funds: enabling autotrade lets Milo trade the user's wallet autonomously, starting with a sweep of existing holdings into USDC.
Potential side effectsupdate_account_autotrade_settings⚠️ Moves funds: enabling autotrade on an account lets Milo trade that account autonomously, starting with a sweep of existing holdings into USDC.
Potential side effectsupdate_strategy⚠️ Replaces live state: every field you pass overwrites the saved value (allocation, instructions, custom tickers) — there is no merge — and a strategy linked to an active trading account changes what that account trades once re-synced.
Inferred read-onlysync_strategy⚠️ Replaces live state: re-applies the strategy's allocation and instructions onto the live trading account's autotrade settings, replacing the current ones while trading stays active — the account starts trading the new configuration immediately.
Inferred read-onlydeploy_arena_strategy⚠️ Moves funds: this transfers SOL (≥1 SOL) from the owner's wallet into a new arena wallet and starts autonomous trading there.
Inferred read-onlywithdraw_arena_strategy⚠️ Moves funds: this liquidates the arena wallet and transfers all holdings back to the owner's wallet.
Inferred read-onlyget_arena_leaderboardGet the arena leaderboard — ranked strategies with PnL, win rate, return percentage, account value, and current holdings.
Inferred read-onlycreate_conversation⚠️ May trigger trades: the agent that answers can ACT on the message, not just reply — the auto-trader agent can update autotrade settings and close positions, so a message that asks for a trading action has the same effect as calling the destructive trading tools.
Potential side effectssend_message⚠️ May trigger trades: the agent that answers can ACT on the message, not just reply — the auto-trader agent can update autotrade settings and close positions, so a message that asks for a trading action has the same effect as calling the destructive trading tools.
